Hi!  Thanks for wandering over to “Making Every Rainbow Count.” I am excited that you have ventured over to check it out and hopefully you will enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing. I can’t promise that this blog will be the best you’ve ever read, in fact I can name tons of other blogs that will be a better read than this one. But, I can promise that if willing, you will laugh with me, cry with me, and catch a glimpse into the incredible story that is my life, my rainbow.

You will find early on that I’m not a professional and grammar nor spelling is my strong point! So while I love to write and share, please be kind to me and bear with me through all my mistakes. You are WELCOME to call me out on my errors and in fact, I even appreciate it. My readers are my editors. Just be nice to me. 🙂

I always appreciate constructive criticism and fresh ideas, so please feel free to challenge me with your own thoughts, ideas, and new adventures for me to try!

I absolutely LOVE to hear from you –  please reach out through comments and email as it’s a huge motivator for me keep my blog updated!

Until we meet again,

1. How do I find my way around your blog?

I’ve tried to make this blog as user-friendly as possible, yet all the while still trying to keep it clean and organized.  At the top of the page you will see four introductory pages.

The first page is “home,” which is the page you are currently on.
The second page is a page that was designed specifically with you, as a reader, in mind.  The *All Blogs Archived Here* page is a collection of every single post I have ever written.  These are posted in order by date with the most recent post first.  Every time my blog is updated, no matter the category it falls under, it will show up here.  I hope that having all my blog posts under one roof, makes it a little easy for you to navigate!
The third page, “Why Rainbows,” is a bit of an introduction to my blog site.  This page explains in a bit of detail why I chose the name of this blog and why rainbows are so important to me.
Finally, the fourth page is all about me. Which is pretty self-explanatory.

To the right side of your page  are several category pages. You can scroll your mouse over top of each category to read more about them (or you can just read ahead to the next question to learn more.)  Each category is topic related and every blog update will go into one of these categories. If you are looking for something specific — look under the category instead of the archives.

2. How do I know what those categories are about?

Well you’re in luck because I’m going to tell you. 🙂 I feel like each category is pretty self-explanatory but just for the sake of knowing here is a detailed list of each category.  Please feel free to contact me with suggestions of new categories that you’d like to see me write about – from songs of the week, movie reviews, hair tutorials.. I’m open for a lot of different things and would love to hear what you all are looking to read about!

*My Day as Mom* As a first time Momma, I’m on my toes all the time. I’m also full of Million Dollar ideas to help make this Momma job easier. This category is filled with my million dollar ideas and all the awesome things my sweet babies do that I find hilarious, even when you don’t. 🙂
*Random Rambles* : When words meet a page that have no place in any other category they fall into this category.  I sometimes have a lot to say even when it makes no sense.  Whether you are walking with me through some of my greatest joys, struggles, complaints, and weirdest quirks, you’ll find them all right here. 🙂
*Take on Today* : Picture Challenge!  After many failed attempts at the 365 picture challenge, I decided I was NOT going to fail this time. I purchased a new phone not too long ago and the sales representative asked if he could transfer my pictures. Obviously I said yes, 873 pictures and 30 minutes later my pictures were downloaded.  I had only had my previous phone for 4 months prior (yes, I dropped and broke it!).  Clearly my problem isn’t taking the pictures.  It’s the uploading.  I WILL upload and write a small something regarding each picture. You will likely find MANY cell phone pictures… but they are pictures none-the-less. Taking on Today in a whole new way. 🙂
*Tipful Tuesday*  : My tip of the week! Whether it be the best way to get a red stain out of the carpet or the yummiest place to find crab cakes or a feel good tip, you’ll find many pass along tips right here every Tuesday!

3. Is there a way to write a comment on a post with out posting my email?  I don’t want people to see my email.

Unfortunately, I think you have to leave an email to post.  That being said, if you choose to comment on a post or join in on a discussion your email will never show publicly on the website.  Rest assured that I will be the only one who will see that email. I do believe you can comment anonymously, but please leave a name in the comment box if you choose to take this route.
Also, if it makes you more comfortable to comment via email you may email me a comment in regards to the post and I will be sure to add it onto the post itself.

4. How can I contact you?
Please email me at: myrainbowcounts@gmail.com
I am a relatively busy Momma, thus if you do not hear back from me immediately is does not mean you won’t.  Please do not get frustrated or impatient with me.  I do try to respond to all my emails within 48 hours.  However, if you have an urgent matter of any nature please put urgent in the subject line and I will get back to you as immediately as possible.

If you have any further question or know of ways I can improve this blog, I would love, love, love to hear them!
